Referee & Volunteer Program

RVP Overview

Marin FC maintains the RVP in order to accomplish many goals. Volunteers and referees in the soccer community are always needed, referee licensure educates our players, and fundraising for MFC programs such as financial aid and coach education.

U8 through U12

Parents are expected to volunteer for club or team in some capacity.  A $75 deposit is collected at registration which is fully refundable when volunteering is confirmed.

U13 through U15

Players are expected to become licensed (courses are free to MFC players and the club provides an initial kit) and then referee 5 games in the Marin soccer community.  A $150 deposit is collected at registration of which $30 is refundable upon completion and reporting of 5 games refereed by the player.

U16 through U19

Players are expected to referee five games or volunteer in the soccer community for the equivalent amount of time (5 hours). A $150 deposit is collected at registration of which $30 is refundable upon completion and reporting of 5 games refereed or volunteering by the player.

Use the cnra (California North Referee Administration) to enroll in a licensing class.
